Office Occupations
OFFICE OCCUPATIONS COOPERATIVE EDUCATION (COOP) is a program that involves course work in the Word Processing area by integrating work situations into the classroom content and using classroom theory as a basis for making decisions and solving problems in the work environment.
- A qualifying job position would be any job in an office, such as an office assistant or a position with similar duties.
- Coursework will include the Word Processing class using the Microsoft 2003 Suite.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Gain work experience while receiving school credit
- Triple credits
- Must work a minimum of 15 hours / week at related job
- Shorter school schedule to allow for work experience – (3-hour minimum school schedule = 11:30 a.m. release)
- Senior P.E. requirement is waived
