CULINARY ARTS COOPERATIVE EDUCATION (COOP) is a program that involves course work in the Culinary Arts area by integrating work situations into the classroom content and using classroom theory as a bisis for making decisions and solving problems in the work environment.
* A qualifying job position could be any job in the food service industry. This could include preparation of food and management training activities relating to a commercial operation.
Coursework will include the senior Culinary Arts class.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
* Gain work experience while receiving school credit
* Triple credits
* Must work a minimum of 15 hours/week at related job
* Shorter school schedule to allow for work experience - (3-hour minimum school schedule+11:30 a.m. release)
* Senior P.E. requirement is waived
