PSAT registration: The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a program cosponsored by the College Board and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It’s a standardized test that provides practice for the SAT, and it also gives juniors a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs. In addition, students will gain access to college and career planning tools. Juniors can sign up with Mrs. Kumke in the Counseling Center by Friday, September 26. The cost of the test is $14. Make the check payable to Belleville East High School. The PSAT will be given at East on the morning of Wednesday, October 15.
