The Belleville East Lady Lancers have a winning tradition that began back in the 1980's. In the last seven years the Lady Lancers have won five Regional Championships, two Sectional Championships and numerous regular season tournament championships. Also, the Lady Lancers have won three Southwestern Conference Championships!!
Mariah Sunkett signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball at Division I Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky next year. Mariah was a 3-year starter at Belleville East and has earned herself a spot in the Lady Lancer record book. We are very excited for Mariah and look forward to watching her as a Hilltopper next year!

Jasmine Guthrie signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball at Rend Lake College for the 2012-2013 season. Jasmine will also be entering the Air Force Reserves this summer. Congratulations to Jasmine and her family. We are very proud of her accomplishments and wish her well in all she does in the future.

Alexis Brown has signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. Alexis has received a full scholarship to pursue a nursing degree and continue her basketball career. In addition to this great accomplishment, Alexis was recently named 1st Team All- Southwestern Conference and IBCA All-State Honorable Mention. Congratulations to Alexis and her family! We look forward to watching her continue her success at the next level!

Taiyana Poore signed a Letter of Intent to continue her basketball career at the University of Lindenwood at Belleville. Taiyana joins a long list of Lady Lancers who have received college scholarships to play basketball. Congratulations to Taiyana and her parents! We look forward to cheering for her and the Lindenwood Lynx!
