students wear any type of school spirit/club wear?
A.
Students may wear school
approved spirit/club wear on designated spirit wear/club days.
Q.
Will
students be allowed to wear different types of dress during Homecoming
festivities?
A.
The school dress code will
be enforced for all students except for those who choose to participate
in the approved theme for the day.

What
are the acceptable shirt colors?
A.
White, Maroon, Navy Blue
or Columbia Blue

What
are the acceptable pants colors?
A.
Black, Navy, Khaki
Q.
Can
girls wear skirts?
A.
Yes, as long as the following
criteria are met:
Must be a solid color of
khaki, black, navy blue
Length must be at or below
the knee
No denim, leather, or stretch/spandex
skirts
Slits can't rise above
the knee

Can
students wear shorts?
A.
No

What
type of pants are students allowed to wear?
A.
Must be a solid color of
khaki, black, or navy blue
Must be worn at waist level
No sweatpants, denim leather
or stretch/spandex pants

Can
girls wear ¾ length capri's?
A.
Yes
Q.
What
type of shirts can students wear?
A.
Collared shirts, sweaters,
sweatshirts, and turtlenecks
Must be a solid color of
maroon, white, navy blue, or columbia blue
Shirt length must be no longer
than the bottom, back pocket level or tucked in
Logos on shirt may be no
larger than a half dollar with the exception of Belleville East/West
spirit wear
Each layer of layered shirts
must be one of the color choices

What
is meant by Belleville East/West spirit wear?
A.
Any shirt that meets the
color and style criteria with the exception of the
logo, which reflects the
school name or insignia and which may be larger than a half dollar.
Spirit wear shirt may also have writing on it. (Example: Belleville
East/West across the front in large letters is acceptable)
Q.
What
types of shoes are students allowed to wear?
A.
Students must wear shoes
or sandals.
If they wear shoes with laces,
they must be tied
Slippers are not allowed
In addition, pants may
not be tucked into the boots

Are
students allowed to wear East colors if they are a West student
and vice versa?
A.
Yes

Do
parents have to buy from a specific vendor?
A.
No

What
types of belts are acceptable?
A.
Solid brown or black belts
may be worn
Belts must be properly
buckled and may not dangle

What
are the consequences for dress code violations?
A.
Students not complying with
this policy will be sent home to change clothes and will be unexcused
(no make-up work ) for the duration of their absence. After
three violations the following consequences would apply:
4 th violation Sent home
unexcused and 1 Saturday Detention
5 th violation Sent home
unexcused and 2 Saturday Detentions
6 th violation Sent home
unexcused and 1 day of In School Detention
7 th violation Sent home
unexcused, 1 day of In School Detention
and
1 Saturday Detention
8 th violation Sent home
unexcused and 3 day Out of School
Suspension
9 th violation Sent home
unexcused and 5 day Out of School
Suspension
10 th violation Sent home
unexcused and 7 day
Out
of School Suspension

Are cargo pants allowed?
A.
Yes, as long as they meet the other provisions of the dress code
(i.e. color, worn at waist level, etc.)

edging and /or stripes allowed on the shirts?

No

Do
sweaters have to have collars?
A.
No

What
are the acceptable "shades" of blue as it relates to Columbia Blue
and Navy?

Light Blue and Dark Blue

are the acceptable "shades" of maroon?
A.
Maroon or shades of maroon
such as burgundy. Reds and Pinks are not allowed.
